Tide tables web application layered upon an open API provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) . Built with HTML5, CSS3, PHP (Zend Framework), MySQL, JQuery, and SOAP. Read more about this project at MakeUseOf.com and ProgrammableWeb.com.

I sold this site in 2013.

One of the first free domain name value analysis tools. Built with HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL. Received major popularity and mention of it can still be found on sites like KillerStartups.com.. This was my first major web project and was created after months of domain sales analysis and algorithm design to make a “best guess” attempt at valuing domain names.

Looking back, the algorithm was terrible. Although, it did give me a new respect for the complexity of platforms like Google Search. When you have a dozen variables to determining a weighting scheme to convert to value, its very similar to a search engine, which also has many different variables for determining weighting.

I sold LeapFish.com in 2006 and it went on to be a search engine startup.
